Spring is here, flowers blooming and all!

Ecstatic that Spring is finally here! I captured all these colourful blooms with my HTC, I was quite impressed with the outcome.

I love the festivity of Spring and all its colours, it's really inspiring for new artwork and prints. I will be capturing some Jacaranda's also, I just love the huge branchy trees and how it spills purple flowers everywhere. Planning for our next photoshoot with them in the shot, watch this space.

Not sure what these are but I see them in people's front lawns a lot

These flowers are amazing, look at the pink veins!

These flowers remind me of my childhood. My grandparents have them planted along the front of their house
Love the water beads on these

These orange blooms are just so cheerful

These cute white flowers caught my eye, they only have four petals but make such an impact.

2014 Primetime Emmy Awards - Red Carpet Favourites

Love seeing what celebs are wearing on the Red Carpet, and the 66th Primetime Emmys did not dissapoint! These are a few of my favourites from the night, you can see the whole coverage at Style.

Sophia Vergara looks like a goddess in this structured Roberto Cavalli gown. I especially love the mermaid skirt and lines on the bodice. Her trademark hourglass shape is accentuated well by the flawless fit.

Halle Berry looks sexy as ever showing of some leg in this high split Elie Saab creation.

What a stunning couple, Matthew McConaughey looks handsome as ever, but Camila Alves steals the limelight in this gorgeous white lace gown by Zuhair Murad.

I'm always a big fan of dramatic, voluminous skirts and am so into two-piece dresses right now. Sarah Hyland looks just lovely in Christian Siriano.

Another high-impact voluminous skirt in the mermaid style, Keke Palmer looks amazing in the royal blue gown by Rubin Singer.

Still love high splits, especially ones that show a textured under-skirt and has sparkles. Kerry Washington looks alluring in Prada.

Mute toned embellished dresses are an all-time favourite and is never out of style. Taylor Schilling looks glamorous in Zuhair Murad Couture, although I do with she chose a bolder lip colour.

This is an interesting Versace creation worn by Gwen Stefani. It has a very modern, sophisticated look about it with metal panel detailing at the bust.

Lookbook: Romance Goddess

"When in love, she loves passionately, deeply and wholly. Each touch, each kiss and affectionate gesture from her lover, she returns with a hundred times more intensity. She lives in the moment, for the love, soaking it in like the warm autumn sun. She doesn't forget to enjoy the simple things in life, all that we take for granted. Romance is beautiful, is key, and is what she lives for."

Grammys 2014 Red Carpet

I love seeing what celebs are wearing on the red carpet before a huge ceremony! The 56th Grammy Awards was on last Sunday, and here are my favourite looks from the night.

Beyonce stole the show in this Michael Costello Gown made of white lace. The gown was mostly sheer with nude lining, a favored style among celebs and runways lately.

Christine Teigen looked stunning in this metallic sequined dress. The gold really complements her skin-tone, and she wore this gown well by keeping accessories to a minimum.

Ciara showed off her baby bump in this beautiful nude toned dress with a train. I love the embroidery of the fabric, and her loosly tousled hair.

Anna Kendrick opted for a sexy Azzaro peephole gown with a split. Her hair was parted and combed to one side with voluminous waves, looking the part of a classic Hollywood bombshell.

E! Host Giulana Rancic chose this bright and bold Alex Perry lace gown, and kept her look elegant with hair sleeked back.

Katy Perry looks like she just stepped out of a fairytale in this nude Valentino tulle gown. I do love the sheerness and the added musical touch, its very her.

Kelly Ozbourne looks sophisticated in this edgy black Badgley Mishcka gown.

I had to put this one in. Pharrell Williams has always been a huge crush of mine since high-school. Not only is he super talented in his music, he is undoubtedly stylish and just always had swag. He even looks cool and sort of badass with this big over-sized vintage Vivienne Westwood hat that no-one else could possibly pull off. This hat made headlines that night and is an internet sensation with its own twitter account @Pharrellhat before the ceremony was over. You can read more on it in this article.

Ulyana Sergeenko - Spring 2014 Couture

Ulyana Sergeenko designed a gorgeous couture collection that evokes feelings of an old-time romance, sensual and elegant with a dramatic flair.

“It’s a glamorous woman taking a voyage through the Eastern republics of the former Soviet Union" The Russian couturier explains. Inspirations were taken from a train trip, with destinations that included Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Ulyana tells a story through her exquisite collection and translates the adventures of a femme fatale.

Detailing was greatly emphasized and close-up you could see the intricate details and careful craftsmanship for each piece. The collection featured luxurious silk satins, hourglass corsets with very defined sweetheart necklines, hand-painted fringing, some layering and silk embroidery. The accessories fit the theme with colourful vintage-feel trunks and bed-roll clutches with flower embroideries and tassels. All the models wore peep-hole pumps and looked sultry and sophisticated.

Below are my favourite looks from the collection, be sure to check her work out, links below.

Spring 2014 Couture - Chanel

Karl Lagerfeld's refreshing collection for Chanel can be described as modern, youthful, liberating, athletic, boyish yet feminine, fun and free. It's not your usual couture, there was not a pair of stilettos in sight, but instead Massaro's fabulous flat, embellished sneakers. Way to make a statement!

Midriffs were a common element in the collection, created with crop tops and cutoff blazers over cinched waists.

Amazing fabrics were used, and colours were kept light and subtle with shades of iridescent pastels and grey. Love how the shoes were matched spot-on to the outfits.

The collection showcased some loosely fitted, flapper style cocktail gowns that were light and flowing but just as glamorous.

Minimalist bride complete with angelic headpiece with veil.

Could this look become mainstream and look stylish on our city streets? Then we would no longer have to cringe when seeing stylishly dressed corporate chicks with sneakers power-walking their way to work... Somewhat futuristic, and from another world even, but if sneakers at cocktails were the norm, we could party all night and willingly leave our shoes on!

SPRING 2014 COUTURE - Atelier Versace

I am in awe over the Atelier Versace Spring 2014 Couture Collection.

The collection showcased structured fits with soft feminine lines, with inspiration from the eccentric, Grace Jones. Donatella brought the look of a Contemporary Goddess to life, fierce, powerful and sexy.

Below are a few looks I loved from the show.

Structured blazer featuring defined shoulders, revealing a sheer, sequined bodice underneath, over the light, softly draped skirt. The combination, feminine yet strong.

Love paneling, especially at the bodice. This gown has a gorgeous design with unusual cutouts under bust.

Nude-tone corset at waist, teamed with a soft pastel shawl/cape. This look again effectively combines the two elements of hard edges and soft lines.

So into splits right now, draped in all kind of ways.
These brightly coloured gowns look so sleek and liquid. Love the extra bit of detailed embellishment that really balances out the look and the hood adds a bit of mystery.

The draping and ruching of these two gowns are just amazing...
